—out-of-line— ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -Concept note by Priyank Gothwal @post_yank-⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As a raag ascends to reach its culmination and descends back to its beginning, a day ascends as dawn and descends back into dusk. The fall of the day contains the origin and the retreat, a return back to home. Dusk brings with it an expulsion of a sigh, a realisation of one’s own ground by putting all commotion and labour of progression to an end. Against all aspirations, it produces a settlement. Against all calculations, it produces an aggregation of totality. His attempt to make calls at dusk was to subsist the time of this transitory moment and to slow it down further to almost its stagnancy by stretching the first note in Raag Puriya Dhanashree (dusk Raag), played by Nikhil Banerjee in Kolkata 1984. – ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ -Credits- Poem in image by @rilke Sound by Priyank Gothwal Special thanks to – @sonamchaturvedii @suvanisuri ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ – We wind up the lines today with 'dusk note' by Priyank.
